Wardi Launches Special Independence Day Badges Made from Retired Military Uniforms

“Wardi,” a unique socio-environmental initiative founded by two Army Veterans of Dwarka is crafting a meaningful tribute this Independence Day. The venture repurposes retired military uniforms into sustainable and stylish utility products, aimed at reducing textile waste and supporting the welfare of military families.  As a special gesture for Independence Day 2025, Wardi is introducing handcrafted commemorative badges (approx. 8 cm in diameter), made from retired military uniforms. These badges serve as a symbol of pride and gratitude-honouring India’s Freedom Fighters and Security Personnel who continue to protect the nation with unwavering dedication. Wardi invites Societies, institutions, organisations, schools, colleges and corporates to procure these special badges in bulk for their staff, students and members. Wearing these on Independence Day is a respectful and impactful way for citizens to pay tribute to the spirit of patriotism and acknowledge the legacy of  military heroes. Through this initiative, Wardi not only salutes the selfless service of the Armed Forces but also contributes to environmental sustainability by minimizing uniform waste. Dwarkaites are encouraged to join this movement and wear their respect with pride this Independence Day.
