Dwarka Police Strengthens Police-Public Connect “Suraksha Sabha”

Dwarka District Police organised “Suraksha Sabha” on 09th August, 2026 at the Delhi Police Academy Auditorium, Sector 9, Dwarka, to strengthen police-public coordination and provide residents with a direct platform to raise safety concerns and local grievances. The meeting was headed by Kushal Pal Singh, IPS, DCP, Dwarka District along with Vikas Meena, Addl. DCP Dwarka-I, ACPs, senior police officers, ACP Traffic and officials of the Delhi Fire Service. RWA/MWA representatives and residents. During the interaction, residents and representatives raised concerns related to public safety, traffic management, security arrangements, local policing and other issues affecting their neighbourhoods. Speaking on the occasion, Kushal Pal Singh, said, “The safety and security of residents is our foremost priority. Regular interaction with RWAs, MWAs and residents helps us understand local concerns more effectively and enables the police to respond in a timely and focused manner. We encourage citizens to actively participate in community policing and share information or concerns with the police. Together, police and the public can create a safer and more secure Dwarka.” The Sabha also provided an opportunity to discuss preventive policing, security coordination within residential societies, traffic-related concerns and fire safety measures with the concerned officials. The “Suraksha Sabha” served as an important platform for direct and constructive dialogue between the police and community. The initiative is expected to strengthen mutual trust, improve coordination and encourage greater public participation in maintaining safety and security across Dwarka.
