A NEW TEAM INSTALLED FOR ROTARY CLUB OF DELHI GOVINDA
The Rotary Club of Delhi Govinda Dwarka celebrated the Installation Ceremony with great enthusiasm, fellowship and commitment to community service. The event marked the formal induction of the new leadership team for the Rotary Year 2026-27 and witnessed the presence of club members, their spouses, distinguished Rotarians from across the district, Interactors, Rotaractors and invited guests. The highlight of the evening was the installation of Rtn. Sanjeev Kumar Bindlish as the President of the Rotary Club of Delhi Govinda for the year 2026-2027. Along with his team, he took the oath of office and pledged to uphold Rotary’s cherished motto, “Service Above Self,” while working tirelessly for the welfare of society and the betterment of the community. The ceremony was graced by District Governor Rtn. CA Ajeet Jalan, whose presence added dignity and inspiration to the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, he encouraged the newly installed team to continue Rotary’s legacy of humanitarian service, leadership and ethical values. He appreciated the club’s commitment to social causes and expressed confidence that the new leadership would take the club to greater heights. Speaking on the occasion, Rtn. Sanjeev Kumar Bindlish, President, said, “It is a matter of immense pride and responsibility to lead this vibrant club. Together with my dedicated team, I am committed to strengthening Rotary’s service initiatives in the areas of education, healthcare, environmental sustainability, youth development and community welfare. We will strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need support the most. I seek the cooperation of every member as we work together to create lasting impact.”

Rtn. S. P. Singh speaking to Dwarka City said, “I am associated with the Rotary Club and had the privilege of serving as its President from 2023 to 2024. During my tenure, we carried out numerous community service projects that benefited people from different sections of society. Dr. Pushpa Sethi said, “The Installation Ceremony of the Rotary Club of Delhi Govinda Dwarka is not only a formal transfer of leadership but also a renewal of our collective commitment to ‘Service Above Self.’ Over the years, the club has undertaken numerous initiatives in healthcare, education, environmental protection, women empowerment and community welfare, touching the lives of thousands. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to President Rtn. Sanjeev Kumar Bindlish and his entire team for taking on this important responsibility. We have organised free medical camps to provide healthcare services to the community. We have distributed sanitary pads to promote menstrual hygiene and support the health of women and girls. We have also provided notebooks, textbooks and other educational material to underprivileged children who could not afford them, helping ensure that financial hardship does not prevent them from pursuing their education. We will now be working on providing a free ambulance for taking the body to the cremation ground. This will be attached to all hospitals. Also, we are planning to open a computer centre for underprivileged children. Our organisation believes in serving society through meaningful action. Whether it is healthcare, education or social welfare, our aim has always been to reach those who need assistance the most and contribute to building a stronger, healthier and more compassionate community."CA Ajit Jalan, District Governor
