From Ties to Triumph The Road to the Word Pro Finale

The journey towards the much-anticipated Word Pro Finale reached an important milestone on 10th August 2026, with the successful conduct of the Tie-Breaker Test at Bal Bhavan International School. The Tie-Breaker was organised by DCEB EduWorld for participants from eleven schools, whose exceptional performances had resulted in a tie for the highest marks in their respective school-level Word Pro rounds. With a place in the prestigious on-stage finale at stake, the tied participants were given an additional test to determine the finalist who would represent each school. The atmosphere at Bal Bhavan School was one of keen anticipation, focus and healthy competition. The young participants rose admirably to the challenge, demonstrating an impressive command of words, accuracy, presence of mind and the ability to perform under competitive pressure. The Tie-Breaker provided a fitting platform to identify the students whose perseverance and proficiency would earn them the coveted place in the Finale. With the conclusion of this crucial round, the finalists representing 29 schools have now been determined. Their selection marks the culmination of a rigorous and exciting journey that has celebrated vocabulary, language skills and a love for words among young learners. Adding further grandeur to this journey, the Jersey Ceremony for the finalists will be held on 22nd August 2026 at N.K. Bagrodia Global School, Sector 17, Dwarka. The ceremony will formally honour the selected finalists and mark their transition to the much-awaited on-stage Word Pro Finale. The Tie-Breaker Test was not merely a test of knowledge; it was a celebration of determination, excellence and competitive spirit.
