Obstructed Footpath Outside Din Apartments

The residents of sector-4 have raised serious concerns over the poor and unsafe walking conditions out-side the boundary wall of Din Apartments, Sector 4, Dwarka, where the footpath has reportedly become almost unusable due to encroachments and construction material. According to resident Yadvendra Sahai, the sidewalk on one side of the road is blocked by an overgrown thorny bush that has extended onto the pedestrian path. The bush not only makes walking difficult but also creates inconvenience for vehicles passing through the area. On the opposite side, construction blocks reportedly placed by the PWD have remained on the roadside for the past several months. The combination of the overgrown vegetation and construction material has considerably narrowed the available passage for both pedestrians and motorists. As a result, pedestrians are being forced to walk in the middle of the road, while motorists are also compelled to use the same limited space. Residents say the situation has created severe congestion and poses a significant risk of accidents, particularly for senior citizens, children and other vulnerable pedestrians.
Sahai has urged the concerned authorities to remove the construction blocks, clear the overgrown bush and restore the pedestrian pathway so that residents can walk safely.
