Rotary Chowk Inaugurated
The Rotary Club of Delhi Govinda recently inaugurated Rotary Chowk at the prominent intersection connecting Sectors 20, 21, 22, and 23 in Dwarka. The inauguration ceremony saw enthusiastic participation by club members and residents. Among those present were Rtn. S P Singh, Rtn. Mukesh Sinha, Rtn. Sudha Sinha, Rtn. N C Mishra, Rtn. K K Bansal, Rtn. Mohammad Tahir, Rtn. R K Gupta, Rtn. Asish Jain, Rtn. Ashish Srivastava, and other active Rotarians. The initiative aims to enhance the identity and aesthetics of the locality while promoting civic engagement and community service. Speaking at the event, Mukesh Sinha said, “Rotary Chowk is more than just a landmark, it symbolizes our commitment to serving society through visible, meaningful contributions. We hope it inspires civic pride and a sense of community ownership.” Rtn. S P Singh, Past President stated, “Rotary Chowk demonstrates how community partnerships can transform ordinary intersections into symbols of civic pride. This is a great opportunity to remind residents about our shared responsibilities toward public spaces. We are determined to continue such projects to improve the social and visual environment of Dwarka.” Rtn. Mohammad Tahir added, “This initiative truly represents Rotary’s service ideals. Rotary Chowk will not only guide traffic but also showcase our commitment to community development and unity. We believe this will motivate citizens to actively participate in preserving and uplifting their surroundings. Our work will go on for a better Dwarka.” The roundabout, now bearing the Rotary insignia, is expected to improve traffic navigation and beautification in the area. The event concluded with a collective pledge by Rotary members to continue working on projects for the welfare and progress of Dwarka.
