Rotary Club of Delhi Govinda Dwarka Organizes Assembly & Fellowship Seminar on World Yoga Day
The Rotary Club of Delhi Govinda Dwarka successfully hosted its Assembly and Fellowship Seminar on 21st June 2025 at Chhattisgarh Bhawan, Sector-13, Dwarka, under the leadership of Rtn Dr. Anil Sethi, President Elect (2025–2026). The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 45 Rotarians. The proceedings commenced with the National Anthem, followed by a warm welcome address from Rtn Rakesh Kumar Gupta, Secretary Elect (2025–2026). The seminar served as an introductory platform to foster deeper connections and camaraderie among members, especially the newly inducted Rotarians. Rtn M.P. Garg, Charter President, delivered an insightful address outlining Rotary’s mission, objectives, vision, social service initiatives, and the numerous impactful projects carried out by Rotary Clubs across Delhi and the NCR. President Elect Rtn Dr. Anil Sethi elaborated on his vision and the forthcoming projects planned for his tenure, inspiring members with a roadmap for the year ahead. Adding to the enriching discussions, Past President Rtn Arun Roongta also shared valuable insights into Rotary’s remarkable legacy. In commemoration of World Yoga Day, Mrs. Ranjana Singh, Regional Chief of Dwarka Bhartiya Yog Sansthan, conducted a yoga session, sharing practical yoga tips and encouraging Rotarians to adopt a healthier lifestyle. A special highlight of the program was the ceremonial handing over of the Rotary Club of Delhi Govinda Dwarka flag to Rtn Biju BP from the Rotary Club of Trivandrum (Kerala), who is on a remarkable motorcycle journey across India. He engaged the gathering with anecdotes and reflections from his ongoing adventure. The seminar concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Rtn Deepali Roongta, Vice President Elect. The Assembly and Fellowship Seminar stood as a testament to Rotary’s commitment to service, fellowship, and promoting community well-being.
