FESTIVITIES GALORE TO WELCOME 2024


Partying on the New Year eve has become a much looked forward to event of the year-end celebrations. Many people make it a point to draw up elaborate partying plans for their New Year party months in advance. Women of all ages can be spotted going shopping around the city for this special occasion – they want to look and feel their absolute best on the most happening night of the year! It’s time once again to make a new beginning as a brand new year lies ahead of us. Everyone eagerly awaits the last day of the year with expectations, aspirations and looking forward to the goodies. It was a time to let down your hair, and ring in the New Year with a bang! Dwarka was literally into a festive mode and it is not an understatement to say that Dwarkaites love to celebrate! And New Year Eve is a special event, and thus the celebrations have to be bigger and brighter than other. Hotels and restaurants had lined up hot foot tapping, parties, curated menus, offers on food and drink. The best DJs were there bringing all to beats till you drop. Everyone was in a good mood, saying bye to the year that was, and counting down to a new one. From clubs to 5-star hotels to open-air venues, there were parties across budgets in the sub city. All the restaurants and hotels of the sub city were awash with people despite the winter cold and the nip and fog in the air did not at all dampen spirits. Almost all cafes, bars and pubs, and lounges offered a wide array of choices spread in front of you to choose your party place from. While most people spent the New Year eve in the quiet and peace of their warm homes in the company of family and friends, the restaurants, pubs and hotels of Dwarka left no stone unturned to put up an attractive and eye catching fare to lure the party makers. The residents had made collective efforts to celebrate a grand ringing in of the New Year and ringing out the old. RWAs and societies were lighted up the society premises in bright lights and foot tapping music and dance parties had been planned.

Here’s what few restaurant offered-

Fire Nice Restrobar - Guests enjoyed exotic dinner with family and friends on 31st at this a multi- cuisine restaurant at Sector 10. Served under different segments, Fire ‘N’ Ice offered a wide range of finger licking assortments from hot curries with hot flavours of chilly ginger and garlic to creamy kormas and sweet dry fruit gravy. The main course included a range of standard paneer dishes including Shahi Paneer, Paneer Tikka Masala and Kaju Paneer. Of course, there was a tempting array of other curries too. There was choice of ala carte and Fixed Buffet menu in very much pocket friendly price. There was special decoration on 31st December.

Symposium - Symposium organised a New Year 2020 bash on 31st night. The restaurant was tastefully decorated. The food was finger licking. “For 31st we called comedian and folk dancer. We had kept entry fee for 31st as Rs 4500 couple entry. For family of four price of Rs 7000 and for every one more member it was Rs 1500,” said Col Bhaumik, Director, Symposium.

DND- There was couple’s passes for the terrace entry, where a wide spread of vegetarian and no- vegetarian buffet dishes along with drinks, were served- all unlimited. One enjoyed DJ music and two stages of dance floors were provided. The fun started from 7 pm and continued till 12 am. Special price of Rs 1200/- for kids with mocktails and food. “We take pride that our customers and clientele is quite old and faithful. The restaurant was full,” said Jitender Singh Marwah, DND RestaurantSector-6.

Beer On Wheels, Sector-12 – We have so much to offer to our customers. We have a large collection of various beer brands. There was dance and fun on 31st December and one enjoyed sumptuous unlimited meals and drinks for just Rs 1,600/-DJs and accomplished dancers performed on 31st December night here at a very reasonable price of Rs 4,000 for couples and Rs 2,500 for singles.
South Delhi Apartment, Sector-4
The Management Commitee of South Delhi Apartments, Sector 4, staged a warm welcome to the Year 2024 with a cultural programme,  DJ and a gala dinner. The enthusiasm of the residents was in full bloom according to the "Retro" Theme of the event !! While the society ladies were dressed in traditional attire and enjoyed the song and dance, the kids enthralled the audience with their mesmerising performance.
